On an ordinary day early in 2020, while working for one of the Big 2 ride hailing companies, Valerie’s husband & business partner Alfred was asked by a rider if he could do him a favour and help him out by driving him to and from work for the next while. He ran the idea by his wife whose positive encouragement convinced him to accept and so began their journey of a client-centered car/concierge service.

Over the following months, more and more clients signed up for the service, scheduling rides and errands of all sorts, and always at a preferred rate to the existing retail rates. Today, GoAlfred completes dozens of rides & errands per week under its titular brand named GoAlfred Service Inc.

Focused on getting the Durham community moving safely and affordably, GoAlfred is a full-serve concierge car service based in Oshawa. Our Mission is to work within the local community to provide personalized and affordable transportation to our members. Our vision is to establish a personal concierge service on wheels in the Durham region that transforms a customer’s ride experience into one of trust, confidence, and reliability.
